The Mimosa Festival (Praznik Mimoze) is Herceg Novi’s signature winter celebration, honoring the early blooming of the mimosa flower and marking the symbolic arrival of spring. First held in 1969, the festival has grown into a multi-week cultural event filled with street parades, traditional music, culinary events, masquerade balls, and international performances. It is one of the most recognized cultural festivals in Montenegro and the wider region.
